Each year, we celebrate Canadian Beer Day on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Canadian Beer Day is a day dedicated to celebrating Canadian Beer and the people who brew it, sell it, deliver it, serve it, drink it, and of course make cool merch about it.
This year’s theme, Passion & Pride: The People Behind Canadian Beer is a celebration of the people involved in crafting our nation’s favourite beverage, from the dedicated farmers growing the finest grains to the skilled bartenders expertly pouring pints.
It's well-known that Canadians have a deep affection for their Canadian beer – a whopping 88% of beer consumption is locally produced. Canadian brewers are directly responsible for providing employment to 21,000 Canadians, and the beer industry supports 149,000 jobs throughout its value chain.
